Across fields and meadows and always staying on the Jura plateau with a free sight of the surrounding landscape, the hiker arrives in the low lands of the Schwarze Laber near Weikenhammer with the swampy woods of the nature preserve Deusmauer Moor. You pass a deer farm near Dürn, and the Jurasteig once again leads through a spacious, woody and meadowy landscape.

Attention - detour near Weikenhammer: Due to restoration works the bridge at Weikenhammer will be closed until spring 2015. Please use the marked detour via Deusmauer.

After walking a somewhat lengthy and straight field path, the hiker is rewarded by a diversified forest tour after Rothenfels, before you reach the charming pilgrimage church in Lengenbach. On sandy ground, you climb the Schellenberg  into a pine forest covered with blueberry bushes. From there the Jurasteig goes down directly to Arzthofen. Until Deining, the route now runs permanently in the idyllic valley of the Weisse Laber, past the Siegenhofer Mühle and, at last, via the "Biberweg" (beaver trail) into the market place.
